Location: Single Family Home

History: Investigating history of home

Reports: Two adult figures have been seen standing in bedroom closet on many occasions. Two children playing tea party in a separate bedroom. And a dark mass walking the hall near the top of the stairs. These events have been seen by several family members as well as guests to the house. Activity seems to occur around 7pm, especially during the winter months. One of the daughters was very frightened so we moved on this case quickly.

Investigation Results:  We set up our main base in the kitchen, seeing that all the activity was reported to be upstairs. We would have done it outside to reduce contamination, however, there was a heavy freezing rain that night. Yes, I know, we gave into comfort over science. Sue me. :o)

Forgetting the power unit for one of the cameras as well as a critical cord, we had to rethink our logic to jump at this case so quickly. Nevertheless, we used a little creativity and were up in no time.

As soon as we turned all of the lights out, one of the cameras turned off. With the hopes of a good sign of paranormal activity, we found that the camera turned off on it's own, due to not be set up right. It just wasn't my night to be in charge of the setup.

After our baseline sweeps, we sent teams upstairs to perform the investigation. Hours of Audio and Video tape recorded with no signs of activity. Had we pushed it out? Was there anything ever there?

Testing the idea of a headlight shining through various windows, we were able to recreate a shadow moving near the stairs, as well as what appeared as two people in the closet as it hit a few hanging shirts. Dedunked!

However, what we didn't know until we explained our findings is that the bedroom lights were normally on when the closet folks appeared, debunking our own debunk. In addtion, we couldn't explain the two girls having a tea party.

This case is still open, and we are working with the family to see if we can help. This might be in the form of having the house blessed, or even us returning for another investigation. Hopefully this time I'll have packed all the right parts.

Until further investigation, our F-PAVET score is quite low.

F.PAVET Scale = 3.03000
Paranormal Activity Level Score = 9
